Not a logo on a banner. Your SDK in the IDE, running on deadline. Big Screen Hack gives creative-tool companies observed product use, completed work, creator feedback and a measurable record of how their technology performs inside real film workflows.

Evidence from Cannes 2026.

The completed 2026 programme shows the activation model: sponsor products used during the London hack, the resulting work screened independently at Cinéum during Cannes festival week, and every film, tool and award retained in the public archive.

Completed case study: the modules below describe the May 2026 activation. They are evidence of delivery, not currently bookable dates.

The Hackathon

London flagship + online entries. 48-hour cinematic hack, two tracks running side by side: Builder Hack (ship a tool) and Filmmaker Hack (ship a film) — both open to builders and filmmakers. Kick-off 6pm Fri 8 May, submissions close 7pm Sun 10 May. 200+ developers, filmmakers and creatives.

Act 2 · Sun 17 May · Cannes

Our own party on the eve of the Cinéum festival matinée — co-hosted with RecDek House + several partners at a private villa in Cannes. Pool, garden, terrace, sea view. Doors open in the evening for an after-party of up to 400 guests. Sponsors host a section.
