More than 350 of you at the IMAX, seven winners, and now it's your turn to get their work seen.

What a night.

Big Screen Hack London 2026, the Science Museum IMAX, Friday 16 October.

Hi everyone,

Thank you so much for coming. More than 350 of you filled the Ronson Theatre at the Science Museum IMAX on Friday, and the films this community made went up on one of the biggest screens in London. Seeing your work that size, with that room behind it, is something none of us will forget.

Thank you as well for being so patient with us while we handled a rather difficult venue. We are meeting them today to see what we can do to make up for the few minutes of The Odyssey we missed, and we will be in touch about that.

The Public Greenlight: help the world see their work

The judges have made their call, and that result stands. Now it's your turn. We are launching the Public Greenlight today to get the news out there, so these incredible artists get their work seen by as many people as possible.

Every film from London 2026 is in, with a live leaderboard, and it runs for a week until 9am on Monday 26 October. Rally behind the films you love and tell us what you want to see more of. The winner gets a sit-down meeting with three financiers who are looking to fund projects just like theirs.

Vote in the Public Greenlight

Please share it

The biggest thing you can do today is post about it. Share the winners, share the films you loved, tag the filmmakers and tell your network to vote. Every share helps the world find out about their amazing work.

If you made a film, push it hard. Use your network and your audience, and share your fellow filmmakers' work alongside your own. Collectively we are much stronger. If we all help promote each other, we all win.

Next up: Brighton, 2 and 3 November

Come to FLIRT, where StoryMachine is sponsoring the storytelling stage

FLIRT (Future Leaders in Responsible Technology) is two days of talks, workshops and live demos in Brighton, on how AI and new technology should be built and used. StoryMachine is sponsoring the storytelling stage, and I genuinely think it's going to be one of the best rooms of the year for anyone making work with AI. There are some incredible speakers, including neuroscientist Anil Seth from the University of Sussex, Lord Clement-Jones from the House of Lords, Daniel Bedingfield, Manon Dave from the BBC and Asha Easton from Innovate UK. See the full line-up.

Anyone from this community can get a ticket for £30 instead of £65 with the code StoryMachine. That's two days of conference for just thirty pounds.

We also want to hear from the incredible filmmakers in this community. We still have some speaking slots on the storytelling stage, and we are recording pieces to go online too. If you would like to talk about your process, on stage at FLIRT or in a recorded piece, message me on WhatsApp.
