London 2025.The whole story.

The first Big Screen Hack was a simple test. Put filmmakers and AI developers in the same room, give them 24 hours and an open call, then show the results to a real audience on a real cinema screen.

More than 20 films came in. An industry jury watched them on stage at BFI Stephen Street in front of a full room, and four winners were named on the night: How to be Human took Gold, The Lie I Believed took Silver, and TRUTH and The Swan shared Bronze.

The night proved the format. Everything that followed, from the London flagship and Cannes to this year's IMAX premiere, grew out of it.
